Semrush Shopify audit errors and how to fix each one
Semrush Site Audit is excellent at telling you what is wrong and deliberately agnostic about your platform. This page maps its most common Shopify findings to the specific place in Shopify where the fix belongs.

What Semrush reports that no app can fix
Backlinks, referring domains and authority-style metrics live outside your store. Any tool promising to fix those from inside Shopify is misrepresenting what it does. Fix everything on-site, then treat off-site work as a separate discipline.
StoreFix detects this class of issue during the audit, applies the safe repair through the Shopify Admin API, stores the previous value so you can undo it, and re-runs the audit to confirm the fix landed.
Frequently asked questions
- Why does Semrush report thousands of issues on a small store?
- It counts every affected URL. A single template mistake becomes one finding per generated page, which is why fixing the pattern collapses the count so quickly.
Find these problems in your store. Fix them in one click.
StoreFix scans your Shopify store, repairs everything it can safely change, and runs the audit again to verify the result.
